Just when we thought spring was coming…
Psyche.
In what turned out to be a sucky snow season, we got one last reprieve. Saturday night, an inch of the white stuff covered the ground. And Bruiser finally got to play in snow for the very first time.
There was a lot of this- walking around and investigating.
It was a lot for an almost two-year-old to take in.
And then it was time for sledding.
Punky braved the “big” hill” in our backyard with a smile for the first time. There’s hope for our cautious Ferrier yet!
Bruiser can’t let his sister do anything without him. He was excited to give the snow coaster a try.
He lay in his coaster at the bottom of the hill like a well-insulated lump, reminding me of Randy in “A Christmas Story, until Daddy picked him up and set him back on his feet.
It was a snow day surprise, a March rarity. By noon, almost all of the snow was gone. No matter. The memories already had been made.
