Hi! I'm Lindsay Ferrier. You might remember me from a blog called Suburban Turmoil. Well, a lot has changed since I started that blog in 2005. My kids grew up, I got a divorce, and I finally left the suburbs for the heart of Nashville, where I feel like I truly belong. I have no idea what the future will hold and you know what? I'm okay with that. Thrilled, actually. It was time for something totally different.

It’s time for the second installment of “I’ll Take That Dare,” and this episode is one of my favorites!
In it, I wear a Forever Lazy out in one of Nashville’s upscale shopping districts, with hilarious results. Check it out…
Some behind-the-scenes information on this one…
So, what do you think? Would YOU wear a Forever Lazy in public?

You are fearless. And bonkers! I love it!
Thank you, Kathy! It’s so freeing that the world now knows I’m bonkers- and I have nothing to hide! 😉
Is the camera always hidden, or do some people know this is part of a show when they are reacting?
It’s actually really cool, because the cameras they use now are Canons, so they look like still cameras and are very unobtrusive. The photographers can be standing at a short distance and filming and people around are completely unaware. I was miked and generally found that if I walked up to people and just started talking, the cameras would eventually move in and the people would just keep talking, even with cameras and a sound guy hovering around! So it’s a little bit of both, but mostly, people didn’t know they were being taped until we started talking to them and then it was on-the-spot and they didn’t have time to do anything but be honest. 😀
I sincerely hope you show these videos to these kids so they know how totally awesome their mom is. 🙂 I LOVE this. Even more than the Ke$ha one!
I hadn’t heard of Forever Lazy before seeing this, and I’m so disappointed! This would have been the perfect Christmas gift for several people I know!
Your “easy access” comment cracked me up!
This is so hilarious! You are so funny and so brave to take these dares! I can’t wait for Friday
That was priceless – if everyone could have as much fun with their work as you (and I know it is work) the world would be such a better place. And I think the blue “Forever Lazy” looks great with you dark hair and eyes.
I’d never even heard of a Forever Lazy until this post! I used to work shoots for Glamour when I was still in NYC, and we’d always have volunteers to go out and do embarrassing stunts to gauge the public reaction (I forget what the page is called now)–it was all really fun!
[…] that was fun. The kids continued trying to adjust to my new job, which among other things, involved wearing a Forever Lazy in public. I have a feeling some of these videos will come back to haunt me when they’re […]
