Hi! I'm Lindsay Ferrier. You might remember me from a blog called Suburban Turmoil. Well, a lot has changed since I started that blog in 2005. My kids grew up, I got a divorce, and I finally left the suburbs for the heart of Nashville, where I feel like I truly belong. I have no idea what the future will hold and you know what? I'm okay with that. Thrilled, actually. It was time for something totally different.

Winter’s not so bad in Nashville, but I hate the dry skin that comes with it.
I’ve tried everything to counter it, from ultra-moisturizing lotions to expensive body butters to foul-smelling ointments. And what I’ve learned is that while manufacturers have gotten really good at naming this stuff (Ultra Hydrating Intensive Therapy Drenched in Moisture Lotion! 24 Hour Uber Moist Body Creme! Super Rich Advanced Hydrating Lasts Forever Shea Butter!), none of it works all that well. I had pretty much resigned myself to dry skin every winter for the rest of my entire life.
And then I found Jergens BB Body Perfecting Cream.
And y’all? This stuff has changed my life. It’s expensive ($12.99 a tube at Kroger), but my skin has seriously never felt so smooth and buttery soft and glowy, even when it’s zero degrees outside. It promises to do 5 different amazing things to your skin- All I know is that IT JUST FEELS LIKE A MIRACLE. In fact, I’m pretty sure this is the lotion of choice for the angels in heaven. It has become my beauty product crack, to the point that I have woken up at 3am before with anxiety about what I’ll do if Jergens ever discontinues it.
Try it and see if you don’t agree with me. And if you’re fainting over the cost (like I do weekly), get online first and you can quickly figure out where it’s most affordable. I did a quick search last week and it was buy one, get one 50% off at Walgreens. You can also pick it up for much less on Amazon, particularly if you have Amazon Prime and don’t have to pay shipping.
This post, by the way, wasn’t sponsored– but uh, Jergens, if you’re looking for a BB Body Perfecting Cream Goodwill Ambassador? Call me.

How long does it last? I have really dry skin, so I have to use creams every other day, and usually ‘rotate’ between different brands, because otherwise it’s like my skin ‘gets too used to it’!
I use it every morning right after I shower and it lasts (NOTICEABLY LASTS!) all day long. Sometimes I put a little more on the tops of my hands during the day since I wash my hands a lot. I’ve seriously never used anything like it. 🙂
But the overwhelming scent ! I am odor sensitive so this was a complete no go for me. I now just mix moisturizer and foundation, apply with brush, and blend with sponge.
Funny that you say that- I don’t think the scent is strong at all. From: Disqus

Should have tried coconut oil. Much less expensive, skin soft as butter.
I see that one tube is for light skin and the other for medium/deep skin tones. Is the cream tinted? Doesn’t it rub off on your clothes?
The color is very sheer when it goes on- I have used both and can’t really tell much of a difference. If you’re pale, you’d want to choose the light tone, otherwise choose the darker. As for rubbing off on your clothes, you’re advised to let it dry before dressing- I put it on out of the shower and wear a robe for a few minutes while I get ready. I have never noticed it rubbing off on anything, though, ever, even when I’ve gotten dressed right away. The tint is barely noticeable.
