We made Christmas wishes into a winter fountain.
We visited Santa Claus at the mall and went to see a Santa play at Chaffin’s Barn.
We made homemade holiday cookies…
…and brought them to “nature class” at the park.
We went with friends to see “The Nutcracker.”
We decorated the tree.
We walked through Bethlehem and listened to the story of Jesus.
We made a gingerbread house.
…complete with the now-infamous defecating dinosaur.
We, or rather, I, wrapped over a hundred presents…with a little liquid fortification to get me through.
Which, I’ll admit, had me giggling over toys that thought genitals were “neat-o.”
We watched our children experience the magic of Christmas…
…after getting up with this one the night before, every hour on the hour, as he coughed and cried and yes, puked all over himself. We now suspect it’s the flu. Thank God we all had our shots. But woe to a certain woman, who can take her…. ahem.
