Hi! I'm Lindsay Ferrier. You might remember me from a blog called Suburban Turmoil. Well, a lot has changed since I started that blog in 2005. My kids grew up, I got a divorce, and I finally left the suburbs for the heart of Nashville, where I feel like I truly belong. I have no idea what the future will hold and you know what? I'm okay with that. Thrilled, actually. It was time for something totally different.
December 27, 2018
Monster Jam is coming to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena January 5th and 6th and if you’ve been to one of these rip-roaring extravaganzas, trust me — You need to go! This event truly is fun for the whole family; I would never guess this about myself or my daughter, but we both LOVE Monster Jam almost as much as my husband and son, and we never miss a show if we’re in town.
This season’s featured trucks/drivers:
Blue Thunder – Matt Cody
El Toro Loco – Mark List
Grave Digger – Brandon Vinson
Monster Energy – Coty Saucier
Monster Mutt Rottweiler – Cody Snyder
Pirates Curse – Justin Hicks
Soldier Fortune – Kayla Blood
Zombie – Amy Houde
You can purchase tickets on the Monster Jam website, but just to get you in the mood, I’m also giving away 4 tickets for the Nashville show to one lucky Suburban Turmoil reader. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post between now and Sunday, December 30th telling me why you want to see Monster Jam! A winner will be chosen at random and I will mail the 4 ticket vouchers, good for any one Monster Jam show in Nashville, on Monday, December 31st.
GOOD LUCK!

How kind of you! I know the males of my house would enjoy it, but I’m fairly certain I would secretly enjoy it as well!! Thanks for the contest!
This is amazing! It would be so fun to take my 8 year old and his best friend!
I have 4 boys who Love anything with wheels and an engine 😊 we have tried to go to different events for them but being a larger family cost has always prevented it. To win would be a wonderful gift for the whole family!
Thank you so much for doing this
My Daughter’s 7th birthday is on January 5th. Her dad didn’t get to attend the Marvel’s Live with us due to being away for work and now we have to postpone any birthday parties as he is leaving for work again on the 6th. It would mean the world to do something with daddy.
My 4yr old son loves monster jam! We love to see his little face full of excitement when he sees the big trucks!!For days after the show he will drag out all of his little trucks and recreate the whole thing.

I would love to take my 3 year old! He has been seeing the signs and commercials and thinks it’s the coolest thing. I am a single so I am still bring me from Christmas. He has a few of the toys and it would be magic to see them come to life.
Because all 3 of my kiddos (7g, 4b, 2g) play with monster trucks every day! Ramp jumps, car crushing, racing. . . I find them in the car all the time 🙂
We have never been to anything like this. My 9 year old son would love this!
I’ve been a monster truck fan for as long as I can remember. Now my 2 year old son begs to watch monster truck videos. I can’t wait to take him to his first event!
I want to go because my son has never been and every year it comes to Nashville he asks to go but we live paycheck to paycheck and can’t afford to go. Christmas wasn’t the best this year either and it’d be wonderful to win tickets and take our son.
Me and my husband would love to take our 4 son’s we would have a great day with the family
