Hi! I'm Lindsay Ferrier. You might remember me from a blog called Suburban Turmoil. Well, a lot has changed since I started that blog in 2005. My kids grew up, I got a divorce, and I finally left the suburbs for the heart of Nashville, where I feel like I truly belong. I have no idea what the future will hold and you know what? I'm okay with that. Thrilled, actually. It was time for something totally different.

J. Lo was hoping Martin Scorsese would see her and consider her for his upcoming film, If Donna Reed were a Greek Goddess.
Meryl Streep trusted that her gigantic necklace would distract viewers from noticing the evidence of her hairstylist’s nervous breakdown.
Police later said Kirsten Dunst’s dress is what tipped them off, leading them to the missing Oscar nominee Dame Judi Dench found naked and bound in the trunk of Dunst’s car.

>I LOVE Reese Witherspoon and Ryan—-kiss that buddy! Who’s the loser there!?!?!? HAHAHA! Love your reviews.
>Your commentary is hilarious… love it!Adventures in Parenting
>I missed it. I swear The Man tries to make me miss award shows. That was awesome…Reese looked hot. Ryan is such a moron.
>Well, this is a helluva lot better than the Oscar show.
>yeah, Reese really gets that whole “the best revenge is looking good” thing, and man, does she ever!
>Well done as always. Was the Mofo there?I’ll be wearing my gold jacket for your awards show in just a few days. Wanna match?
>Oh my god you are soooo funny. Definitely the best review I have read or heard all day and I have heard a lot ! I want Gwyneth’s dress. You should do stand up m’dear !
>Thanks for the pic’s & recap. I was disappointed with the dresses & the hair. I mean come on people…you’d think with all the resources they have – hair stylists, clothes stylists, make-up artists, etc…they’d look half-way decent. I was a little wierded out by all the Scientologist’s there! And Kelly Preston was looking pretty trashy in her leopard print dress. YES! YES! YES! Reese looked amazing. Simple, yet elegant. Ryan is kicking himself this morning!!
>I love Ellen, but what was the deal with the Willy Wonka suit she wore at the start of the show?
>Yay for Reese! Jennifer H., I don’t care if you were cold, lose the jacket!!!! I liked that Ellen stayed true to herself in suits, but that maroon velvet deal needs some talking about. YIKES! Her hair and make up was good though — I like Ellen, yay Ellen.I like your summary — it was the year of bad hair.
>I thought Reese and Cate Blanchett looked awesome. I honestly wonder what some women are thinking?! I mean, kind of like American Idol – do some people really think they sound good? Did Streep really think she looked good? I wonder. But, then again, I have only worn a formal a few times in my life and was do uncomfortable. Maybe Streep was going for comfort but then it certainly didn’t look comfortable?I am so confused! Ha!
>Just surfing and came across your run-down. Well done. Some crazy bad fashion on the carpet last night. But I think Cameron takes the prize. Didn’t she learn the dangers of fake tanning lotion a long time ago. She also looked like she may have fried her hair with too much Sun-in, sooo late 80’s.
>I’m another Reese fan. Go girl!
>Hil-arious! 🙂
>Did you see Jake Gyllenhal’s imitation of Gwyneth Paltrow on Oscar night? He just cocked his head to the side. What a funny and extremely gorgeous feller.
