Thank you all so much for participating. Let me say that I’ve had three more migraines in the past two days (one is going on right now, actually) , all with scary accompaniments… everything from the aforementioneld “temporary brain damage” to tingly extremities to spots in front of my eyes to losing the feeling in my tongue.
I would be feeling really sorry for myself right now if it weren’t for you guys. Every time a migraine strikes, I think about your stories- and how much worse I could have it- and I stay (well, mostly) calm and upbeat about the whole thing. You did that for me! And from what I hear, your stories are doing the same thing for others out there, too. Thanks again for sharing. You’re all extraordinary!

>Hope you don’t have the flu!I got it last week…started with a horrible headache, then when I was driving to work, my arm went numb…then my lips…then my tongue. I turned around and drove home, slept for 6 hours, woke up and ate pretty much everything in my kitchen. It freaked me out. I don’t normally get bad headaches, but it was the same bug that I took girl to the doctor for because I thought she had meningitis. (I felt like a moron.)Anyway, Dr. Butrfly will shut up now and congratulate Nancy and Minnesota Mom.

>I had migraines with my 2nd also….From the 4th week till the 17th week. It sucked. My poor 18 month old son had to watch TV all day while Mommy was on the couch! Migraines+neverending morning sickness sucks!
