Hi! I'm Lindsay Ferrier. You might remember me from a blog called Suburban Turmoil. Well, a lot has changed since I started that blog in 2005. My kids grew up, I got a divorce, and I finally left the suburbs for the heart of Nashville, where I feel like I truly belong. I have no idea what the future will hold and you know what? I'm okay with that. Thrilled, actually. It was time for something totally different.

>Okay, okay, I’ll admit it. Since having my first child five years ago, my wardrobe has dwindled to several pairs of jeans, a bunch of wrinkled workout clothes, cheap tops, and a few cute outfits for date nights.
Until now.
I have discovered that acceptable fashions for moms to school-aged children are entirely different from the fashions worn by moms to toddlers and preschoolers. The thin t-shirts and jeans I wore (and stained) with great regularity simply don’t cut it when I’m headed to lunch at school with my daughter.
And so I’ve changed.
Read the results of my fashion momvestigation in this week’s Beauty Uncensored column over at Her Nashville Magazine.
