>Happy weekend, everyone!

We went to the Nashville Farmer’s Market today, where I swooned over all the varieties of homegrown tomatoes on display. And then I bought a few bags full. And then I made this for dinner, along with Chicken Lombardy from my Southern Living cookbook, which unfortunately is not online anywhere (the bastids). Anyway, it. was. SPECTACULAR.

And I should not be sharing this information with you, really I shouldn’t, but a certain small member of the family became constipated afterward? And I changed this person’s diaper and saw that a certain HUGE something was, like stuck? And I… I…. I grabbed a wipe and I… carefully… PULLED IT OUT. And the day was saved. And this little person gazed up at me in awe and wonder like I was Lightning McQueen himself. And I fairly glowed with pride. Because I AM MOMMY. AND I CAN PULL THE POOP OUT.

And that was my day. How was yours?
