Hi! I'm Lindsay Ferrier. You might remember me from a blog called Suburban Turmoil. Well, a lot has changed since I started that blog in 2005. My kids grew up, I got a divorce, and I finally left the suburbs for the heart of Nashville, where I feel like I truly belong. I have no idea what the future will hold and you know what? I'm okay with that. Thrilled, actually. It was time for something totally different.

“I don’t know how you do it,” Hubs sighed this morning.
“Do what?” I asked.
“Balance that huge head on that little body.”
“Oh, you’re one to talk,” I said. “Your head is, like, twice the size of mine!”
“Keep telling yourself that,” Hubs laughed. “All I know is that you were the one who needed two pieces of construction paper.
Me? I only needed one.”
“Whatever,” I retorted. “They didn’t have construction paper when you were a kid. Only chalk! And slates!”
“Yeah, right!” Hubs said. “You must’ve really hated gluing those strips of construction paper together to fit around your head.”
“At least we had glue,” I said. “Not like the gum from trees you had to use when you were a kid.”
“I can’t believe you’re pulling out the old jokes,” Hubs said.
“Don’t push me,” I said. “There are a lot more where those came from.”
