Hi! I'm Lindsay Ferrier. You might remember me from a blog called Suburban Turmoil. Well, a lot has changed since I started that blog in 2005. My kids grew up, I got a divorce, and I finally left the suburbs for the heart of Nashville, where I feel like I truly belong. I have no idea what the future will hold and you know what? I'm okay with that. Thrilled, actually. It was time for something totally different.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! This is how I explained the holiday to a four-year-old- Well, this and a half dozen library books on the subject.
For the last two weeks, Punky has been collecting Thankful Feathers from various family members and putting them on the turkey. The result has been something the whole family has enjoyed. I like to think it’s made us all more mindful of the true meaning of the holiday. And now I think we have a new family tradition.
I’ve have family in this week and we’re having a blast! Hope you’re all having a wonderful holiday, too.
