Hi! I'm Lindsay Ferrier. You might remember me from a blog called Suburban Turmoil. Well, a lot has changed since I started that blog in 2005. My kids grew up, I got a divorce, and I finally left the suburbs for the heart of Nashville, where I feel like I truly belong. I have no idea what the future will hold and you know what? I'm okay with that. Thrilled, actually. It was time for something totally different.

>I’ll just confide to you that it’s one of those days.
My newspaper column is due today, Bruiser clocked in with a temperature of 102.5 late yesterday afternoon (leading Punky to gravely inform everyone as they got home that “Bruiser has the beeber,”) and so we’ll be paying yet another visit to the World’s Greatest Pediatrician, and 14’s birthday is tomorrow and we’re scrambling to prepare since she has done us the decidedly teenager-y service of WAITING UNTIL LAST NIGHT to decide what she wanted.
Uh, so anyway, in lieu of an actual post, there’s this:

Both were taken in happier times, all of three days ago. Ah, the memories…
And finally, there’s this:

…which has nothing to do with anything, but made me laugh hysterically.
Happy Friday!

>That is hysterical!! I wonder if they have matching tops to go with the jeans!
>My three year old says “beeber” too, which sounds a lot like beaver. As in “I have a beaver”I’m just trying to correct his pronunciation before he tries that one out in public.
>That video always makes me laugh!
>CDJ, Punky actually asked a few minutes ago if Bruiser still “had his beaver.” Ha!
>I just LURVE the Mom Jeans ad. It’s one of my favorites.
>Drop him off with your friend who dumped her sick daughter on you so you can get some work done.
>Hope Bruiser gets better real soon. I think my kids bought me those jeans, I should check the back of the closet. heh!
>Well, may you meet your deadline, may Bruiser’s beeber be better, may Punky remain forever adorable, and may you all survive the upcoming birthday party 😉
>I hope the “beeber” goes away soon. Funny video, it cracked me up too!
>haha. Loved the video. I loved that they even included the super skinny belt with the jeans. I remember when my mother used to try to convince me that they were flattering. I could’ve died.
>Fair’s fair: in lieu of a real comment I’ll ask a random question. What is your favourite wine-cheese pairing?
>Oh cute pics!!! That video is too funny – that’s EXACTLY how most of the middle aged women look and dress around here!!! esp the jeans…Uh, now that I think about it,I better go check my closet.
>Gorgeous kiddos, love the photos. And I love the video. Hope your weekend goes a bit better. 🙂
>Although I find the mom jeans vid funny – even funnier is the ad for sex toys at the bottom of your newspaper column! LMAO
>The applique vest is the kicker.Love the pictures, especially the fluffy pink dress.
